Traditional and ancient varieties
We insist on cultivating only indigenous, traditional and old, lost in history varieties that have been preserved from generation to generation. These varieties over thousands of years have developed a number of special characteristics, directly related to traditional practices and environmental climatic conditions. This resulted in excellent quality local products that formed the basis of the diet for many different societies and were preserved to the days of our ancestors.
ANTONOPOULOU FARM revives many species of local seeds that are in danger of genetic erosion and extinction, always following organic farming methods. In fact, some crops had disappeared completely for decades and needed serious and in-depth scientific research and a series of experiments in the field: such as buckwheat, flaxseed, millet, asparagus, dicococcus, monococcus, etc.

We use very old seeds, suitable for the specific soil, environment and microclimate of the area, selected from hundreds of others. Seeds of the Covenant of God, Nature and Farmer. Creation that faithfully obeys the harmonious laws of Divine Creation over a thousand years of evolution.
We apply old cultivation practices with modern machinery, giving life again to varieties abandoned by intensive agriculture and agricultural industry, which aims only at profit.
Production verticalization
We produce the raw material ourselves, controlling all stages thoroughly and thoroughly. We also transform owners into installations with certified inspection procedures, ensuring high quality standards up to the shelf.
